Weekly Q: What is Journalism for?

Journalism is for the people, for the writer and the audience. It is for the journalists to express themselves, to entertain and inform the audience. It is for the audience to learn from and respond to. It is about sharing news, whether it be positive or negative, about the past or the future, it is there to satisfy the public. It allows every person to have the chance to recognize and learn about the issues, the problems, and the celebrations occurring nationally and internationally, about the news, about the truth. It is one of the only connections between all of the countries in the world. Journalism allows us to be one. I found this creative but simple video on youtube, that shows a quick outline of what journalism is, so I thought I would share it with you all. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88Midc38AUU
