Social Media Approach: Final verdict on buskers

I decided to pose one more question to my fellow Facebook peers, this time a more broad question about busking.

“What do you think street singers mean for the urban culture? Do you enjoy listening to buskers and think they should keep the right to perform on the street? Also who knows the rapper known as Homeboy, do you have any stories to share?”

The response i received made me feel really good. A lot of people had opinions and ideas that I hadn’t even considered, and it is really cool to see how many people actually appreciate and acknowledge buskers and their talents. I agree that they are a form of art, and make areas more vibrant, welcoming and provide “good vibes.” It seems as though there are quite a few talented buskers in the heart of Auckland City.

There was also more positive discussion about homeboy, he was described as a being a great example of a talented busker, and friendly, calm and chilled.

I think discussions are great because it really opens your eyes to different views and allows you to consider things that you may have never considered before.
